Florian Satzinger

Florian Satzinger is an acclaimed Austrian character designer and visual development artist whose work radiates the vivacious charm of mid-century Disney and Warner Bros. animation. A protégé of legendary animator Ken Southworth, Satzinger trained at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts and Middlesex University London, and has since crafted animated characters for top names like Disney, Warner Bros., Ravensburger, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, and Snapchat. He’s best known for reimagining iconic characters—Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, and Pinky & the Brain—with lively expression and depth.

Awarded the prestigious Nemoland Award in 2009 and the Sokol Prize in 2023 for his outstanding digital caricature and satire work.

Beyond his studio practice, Satzinger enriches animation education through teaching roles at institutions such as the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, and The Animation Workshop in Denmark.

amir h. erfani

Amir H. Erfani is an independent video game producer based in the Netherlands, with several years of experience creating and shipping indie games. With a background in digital art, he has spent over two decades working in the creative industries—delivering artworks, leading creative teams, building art communities, and, most recently, making games.

His latest project, Helskate, began in January 2020 and took five years to complete with a team of talented designers and artists. A skateboarding-action-roguelike, the ambitious concept became a full-fledged production after months of prototyping, securing investments, and expanding the team.

After shipping Helskate and closing down Phantom Coast, Amir has embarked on new indie game projects, aiming for excellence in gameplay, storytelling, art, and overall player experience. These new endeavors reflect his ongoing passion for innovation and creativity in the gaming space.
